　　There are many traditional things like behaviours, customs and old places that have disappeared due to the development of our cities and towns. Some people are wondering what the world would look like if those traditions still exist nowadays.

　　Taking writing letter as an example, at the present time, many youngsters do not even know how to write a letter. Instead, they would spend enormous time playing video games or engaging in chitchat with their friends online. Actually, writing letter to each other can be a very effective way of expressing our respect as well as emotions to our family members or friends.

　　There is no doubt that people living in our grandparents’ age were more warmhearted to our neighbours. One of the main reasons was that they were not distracted by various electronic equipment like smartphones or social medias. And therefor they had enough time to communicate with people surrounding them.

　　Some old places, in fact, are very helpful for teenagers to learn about historical knowledge and being more grateful for what they are possessing today. Unfortunately, many of these spots are gone, which indirectly leads to the loss of young generation’s awareness of history.

　　Overall, the disappearance of some previous traditions or places has really exerted some negative influence on our daily lives, but we cannot deny that our society is going forward all the time.
