　　英文书信是人们进行思想与情感交流最多的一种应用文形式，它重在实用，力求真实、准确、简洁、格式规范。

　　正式的英文书信一般包括7个部分：

　　(1)信头(Heading)：位于信纸的右上角，指写信人的单位名称或地址；

　　(2)日期(Date)：位于收信人地址的下一行，常用写法有两种：月、日、年或日、月、年；(3)信内地址(Inside Address)：指收信人的姓名和地址；

　　(4)称呼(Salutation)：指对收信人的称谓；

　　(5)正文(Body)：正文是书信的主体，一般分为两段或三段；

　　(6)结束语/信尾客套语(Complimentary Close)：从正文下一行的中间靠右处开始写起，第一个词开头字母要大写，行末用逗号；

　　(7)签名(Signature)：位置低于结束语一行，与信尾客套语齐平。但是，目前高考英语书信作文的考查一般是提供简单的格式，不需要考生在格式上纠结，而是让考生把主要精力投入到行文中；尽管如此，学生也必须掌握书信的一般格式。

　　写好英文书信要注意：

　　(1)要符合英语习惯，避免中文式的书信格式和内容；

　　(2)中心明确，语言简洁。内容通常分段写，每段要围绕一个中心，避免脱离主题，漫无边际；不同的书信种类在开头和结尾常有一些惯用语，平时要注意积累，写作时可以选用；

　　(3)语气恰当，态度诚恳。要根据写信人和收信人之间的关系，在称呼、语气以及语体方面均要注意，态度要诚恳且有礼貌；

　　(4)如果是第一次给别人写信，开头要有必要的自我介绍，并表明写信目的；

　　(5)如果是写回信，通常应该先提到收到对方的信，并表示谢意；不管是何种主题的信件，最后一般要表明期待收到对方的回信；

　　(6)格式正确、书写得体、美观大方。
